I Love You, Man is a story about a man named Peter (Paul Rudd) who is about to get married to a wonderful woman. He is a very good guy and hes excited for the marriage. However, they begin talking about who his best man will be. This is when he realizes that he doesn't have any friends that are guys. He goes on a quest to find a new friend, but he runs into some problems along the way. He finally meets a very laid back guy named Sydney (Jason Segel), and they start to become friends. This guy has a completely different mindset compared to the main character, though. The confrontations between the two characters are absolutely hilarious. They get into a fight and Peter becomes unsure if Sydney should be his best man, but the wedding is drawing near.
